Summer 2017 Art Fests

"What do you plan to do with all these pictures when you get back? Don't you think people will want to see them?" Showing (and perhaps someday selling) our art started with a quick suggestion from my sister and mom, over wine in Tuscany. We were just starting the second half of our year of travel.... "Huh, I suppose we could do a show?"
So with a LOT of willing and helpful hosts, guests, friends, and family we hosted 3 private shows - Chicago, Milwaukee, and LA. And then 3 public shows followed - NYC, Chicago, and Minneapolis. And then, while strolling the Lakeview East Festival of the Arts in summer 2016 we thought "we should do these!!!"
We entered four juried shows and were accepted into all of them... including last but not least Lakeview East Festival of the Arts 2017. It was awesome to conclude our first summer of shows (starting in Hinsdale then on to Milwaukee and finally to Bucktown) at the very show that inspired us to get into it all.
It was a huge challenge and major learning experience, but has become a large part of our business! We loved learning what people responded to, and of course liked enough to purchase. We now have our art hanging in people's homes, offices, and being gifted as wedding presents. We love hearing how our images can bring so much wonder and joy to those who view it.

Love this vintage frame and it found a new home!
Venice Futbal, vintage frame. This was the first photo we framed for the shows - thrilled that the new owners loved the repurposed vintage frame and the colors as much as we did! We delivered this to their home after wrapping up and can't wait to see where they hang it!
